TAKING PART
Do one or more of the following: 1. Attend a full session of JG Camp, special JG Day, or JG Day at your state session. 2. Take part in a JG drill or degree team; or take part in some special Grange ritual study. 3. Take part in an exchange meeting and program with another Junior Grange. |

ABOUT SUBORDINATE
Learn more about your Subordinate Grange. Invite the Youth Chairman or Subordinate Master to your JG meeting to speak to your members about their duties in their position and about the Subordinate Grange in general. Assist them in one of their duties as Youth Chairman or Master. |

MEMBERSHIP GROWTH
Volunteer to help with membership growth for your JG. Suggest ways that new members might be gained and follow through with as many of your suggestions as possible. Sign up 2 new members for your Junior Grange. |

KELLEY FARM SUPPORT
Help your Junior Grange earn funds for a donation to the "Kelley Farm Animal Support Project." Write to the Kelley Farm and ask for a brochure telling about the farm. Share it with your Junior Grange. (Oliver H. Kelley Farm, 15788 Kelley Farm Rd., Elk River, MN 55330-6234.) |

MANUAL ALPHABET
Learn and demonstrate finger spelling the alphabet and your first and last name. Also teach a friend to finger spell the alphabet. Each of you practice "reading" the other's signs so that you can finger spell and read back letters as they are signed. |

ATTENDANCE
Attend 90% of all meetings and special events of your Junior Grange for the current year. Serve as an officer or on a committee. |

POSTAL MUSEUM
The National Grange has been a sponsor for the Postal Museum built in Washington, DC. What can you learn about why the Grange has a special interest in the postal service ( especially rural free delivery)? Report to your JG Leader. You can be part of the Grange sponsorship by making a small donation through your Junior Grange. |

GRANGE PROGRAMS
Participate in two or more of the following Grange programs applicable in your state: Talent Contest, Art, Photography, Stuffed Toy Contest, Sign-A-Song, Public Speaking, NJHA or Agricultural Show. |

HELPER
While attending your Junior Grange camp or other special state sponsored Junior Grange activity volunteer to help with 3 or more things such as: songs, flag raising, vespers, kitchen duty, craft set up, etc. |

PUBLIC DISPLAY
Help create and set up a public window display, bulletin board, fair booth or display, etc., that promotes Junior Grange in your community. |

MEMORIZE PARTS
Memorize the Junior Grange Pledge and, if you are an officer in your Junior Grange or on a degree team with a speaking part, memorize your part. If you are not an officer or have a speaking part, memorize the Master's lines in the opening and closing of the Junior Grange. |

PUPPET SHOW
Help present a Farm Safety puppet show. Try to present this for non-members. Grange Month, Agriculture Week, Farm-City Day, etc., would be ideal time to do this. |

LECTURER'S PROGRAM
Create a Lecturer's program along with your Junior Lecturer. It must be at least 15 minutes in length and must be written and sent to the National Junior Director, who will then send a card back to you. Take this card to your Leader and present the program to your Junior Grange as part of the Lecturer's program. |

BOOK GIVING
Collect 10 or more children's books for the "Right to Read," "Book Share," or other similar type of book program (make sure you have permission to give the books away). Take the books you have collected to a shelter, social services agency, daycare, church or anywhere they will make them available for children to take and keep, who are not fortunate enough to have easy access to lots of books. Tell your JG where you took the books and how they will share them with other children. (Even if you do not get 10 books you can still donate them.) |
