Provide Basic Sign Language Books, Manual Alphabet Posters, and/or wallet sized manual alphabet cards for Police Stations, Fire Stations, Hospital/Emergency Room, Warden Services, Town Halls, and Libraries. Teach the Juniors the manual alphabet and/or some basic emergency signs, then take a trip to the Fire/Rescue and Police stations to have the Juniors instruct the officers -- This gives familiarity between children and emergency crews. (Manual Alphabet Posters may be provided by National Grange according to printing availability)

Help Fire & Rescue and Warden Services purchase and program GPS systems

This is a ground tracking system used to pinpoint specific programmed coordinates in different areas, it is very helpful to visiting rescue teams from other areas. Some are inexpensive and but still very useful.

Establish a computer-recycling program using our outdated but still good computers we may find "too slow" but are still good to someone who can't afford to buy one. Possibly set them up at Grange halls for training/learning and all to have access to.

Conservation, Beautification and Earth Awareness -- Playground set ups or repairs, improve or establish walking or hiking trails, bike trails. School Bus and regular bus stop improvement - installing covered waiting areas or benches. Clean up public areas roadsides, parks, etc.

Right to Read Book Project -- Continue the collection & distribution of books to those children less fortunate, for them to keep.

Help a family in need (holidays, anytime or all year long). Stuff-A-Stocking Project - provide Christmas presents for a family.

Backpacks for Foster Children. Collect backpacks to donate to local children's assistance agency to be give to Foster children in times of need when being moved from households.

Provide pet foods, old blankets, kitty litter and other items to local animal shelter. Check what they use and need.

Suitcases and Toiletries needed for battered women's or other shelters for those in times of need when being moved from households.

Assist other organizations with community service, donations and fundraising to achieve a common goal, which might include local Head Start Programs, Shelters, etc.

Stressing accomplishing the goal and not just the credit of doing it.
