Get ready for an exciting time planned for you in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Of course we have made plans for our ever ever-popular Pajama Party. So make sure you pull out your best PJ’s and join us for an evening of movie watching and just having a lot of fun.

We have some pretty awesome programs and tours planned. Our hotel, the Amway Grand Plaza, is in the heart of Grand Rapids. Surrounding the hotel are some way world-class museums. We are planning a visit to the Grand Rapids Children Museum on Thursday afternoon. At the museum they have tons of hands-on-activities like bubble making, mirror magic, and sooooooooooo much more.

On Friday we have planned a wonderful afternoon at the Van Andel Museum Center. We are first going to start off the afternoon with lunch at the Van Andel Museum. Then the afternoon will be devoted to touring the museum, and what a treat is in store for you. On the first floor of the museum you will experience the streets of Old Grand Rapids at the turn of the century. You will experience the sights and sounds of a bustling city with many shops and craftsmen.

On the second floor of the museum you will experience Michigan’s unique dunescapes, woodlands, and lakeshores. You will also learn about Michigan’s rich Native American history.

Now if that’s not enough, you will be treated to a carousel ride on a 1928 merry merry-go-round. All of this in just one afternoon.

Beyond just experiencing Grand Rapids, we will have lots of fun projects for the Juniors as well as a room at the convention just for them.

In addition, we will honor all of the hard work of our Juniors over this past year at the Junior Grange Breakfast on Saturday.
